Statement

When your current member of Congress tried to cancel the Pentagon's efforts to stop predatory lending to military families, he gave up his right to speak for the military and veterans.

I am a USAF veteran and Desert Storm vet who is an airline captain and farmer in Amanda, Ohio. I believe in what the founders thought of Congress -- it should be populated by citizen-legislators advocating for their part of America and not beholden to any special interests.

Unfortunately, my opponent, Steve Stivers, is a career politician who wraps himself in the flag back in Ohio and works against the troops in Washington.

I will change that by working for reforms in the VA and ensuring that when DOD is trying to help the troops and their families -- they succeed -- even if it hurts the payday lenders.
